Who Is Fredlite?
Fredlite is the electronic music project of Stockholm-based producer and songwriter Fredrik Holm.
Blending melodic trance, trance-pop and modern electronic music, Fredlite creates songs that balance euphoric energy with emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from synth-pop, classic trance and cinematic soundtracks, the music combines powerful vocals, bittersweet melodies and storytelling that explores the choices that shape our lives.
At the heart of many Fredlite songs lies the tension between comfort and possibility, truth and self-deception, and the search for something real in a world full of beautiful lies. Themes of longing, temptation, freedom, heartbreak and hope run throughout the catalog, often through characters standing at a crossroads, trying to decide who they are and who they want to become.
Many of these stories unfold in Temptation City.
A place where people go to remember what it feels like to be alive, searching for something they can't quite name. Where dreams and delusions wear the same face. Where every night holds the possibility of becoming yourself more fully... or losing yourself trying.
Temptation City is less a destination than an emotional landscape — a backdrop for stories about desire, meaning, reinvention and the courage to follow a different path when the safe one no longer feels right.
The project emerged in 2021 after a long hiatus from music production. What began as a creative rediscovery quickly evolved into something more: a return to a lifelong passion and, ultimately, the clearest artistic voice he had found after decades of writing and producing music.
Since then, Fredlite has attracted tens of thousands of listeners across streaming platforms while continuing to evolve musically and creatively. But beyond the numbers, the goal remains unchanged:
To create soundtracks for those caught between desire and meaning.
